On June 16, 2025, Addyson and Elijah Meyers were married at The Sixpence in Zionsville, Indiana, in a day that felt deeply rooted in love, faith, and legacy. Their wedding was tender and emotional in every sense, carrying both the joy of their beginning and the sacred weight of loss that had shaped their story. It was a celebration marked by reverence, closeness, and a love that felt steady and deeply lived-in.
Set at The Sixpence, the day unfolded with a quiet, natural beauty that allowed every moment to feel intentional and unforced. Soft light, open space, and the timeless design of the venue created an atmosphere that felt both peaceful and full of presence. There was a sense throughout the day that nothing needed to be rushed—each moment had room to breathe, and the environment itself seemed to hold the emotion of what was unfolding within it.
One of the most unforgettable moments of the day was Addyson and Elijah’s first look. Elijah stood completely still as he saw her for the first time, jaw dropped in awe, overcome with a full-body sense of gratitude and love. He took his time with her, simply taking her in, as if trying to memorize every detail. It was a quiet, powerful pause in the day that spoke louder than words ever could.
Another deeply meaningful part of the wedding came through Addyson’s family-centered moments in honor of her late father, who had passed less than a year before their wedding. She shared a first look and an emotional dance with her brother, who also delivered a speech in place of a father-of-the-bride toast. His words were heartfelt and deeply moving, carrying both grief and love in equal measure. Throughout the day, his presence helped hold space for a father who was profoundly missed but still so present in memory and meaning.
The evening closed in a way that reflected the heart of who they are. Instead of a traditional send-off, Addyson and Elijah chose a prayer tunnel, where their guests surrounded them in silence, laying hands and praying over them as they walked through. It was still, reverent, and incredibly sacred—less like an ending and more like a blessing spoken over the beginning of their marriage.
Addyson and Elijah, your wedding was a reflection of something deeply beautiful: a love that holds joy and grief, celebration and remembrance, all at once. It was an honor to witness your story and the way it is being written with so much intention and heart.
